Usually we spend New Years in Georgia; and so haven't been in the Greenville area to celebrate in the 4 years that we have lived here
Before I say anything else, I have to admit that we 'punked' out...it was soooooo cold! We left at about 9:45; and watched Dick Clark's Rocking New Years Eve...which was refreshingly nostalgic for me.
But I digress... there was a small crowd of folks when we got there around 8:30ish. There was a band (Southern Crescent?), a BBQ tent, a Colombian food tent, a hot dog truck & inflatable playground for kids.
It was really pleasant...or would have been had it not been sooooooo cold!
We voted (sugar daddy, son, niece & nephew & i) to forfeit the midnight fireworks and get out of cold. Super kudos to the folks who braved it... i salute you!
