Another Colombian Jewel Here in Greenville

After leaving the Blarney Blast, we were ready for some grub. We ended up at a place that I had read about in The Link, Sacha's Cafe. This Colombian restaurant is hidden in the corner of the Bi-Lo shopping center @ E. North St. & Pelham Rd.

I cant remember the name of the plantain appetizer but that dish alone is worth the trip!

They have a selection of pita-like sandwiches made with split arepas (which is like the Colombian version of the tortilla, I think -- but not really like a tortilla... if that makes sense!)

And they have tortas (sandwiches) and salchipapas (french fries with small sausages) to which you add your choice of sauces. .. And Colombian soft drinks (i favor the apple-flavored one!)

It wasn't a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow... but it was just one of the many treasures that we have here in Greenville!
